So decided this weekend to do some modding and after a couple of hours of coding things i wanted to go test some weapons and a few other bits and pieces i put into the mod.

My problem is when i get to the page to select my test server instead of there being a nice shiny ip address theres a jumble of numbers letters and symbols. I can type in my password but cannot connect.

i now the easy way is to set up a dual boot but i figure why do that when theres surely a solution to my problem.


So anyone got any ideas ???

I had the same problem when I got my new machine. Also, if it is still happening there is a registry entry not shown in that tut that will have to be changed.
