Today I've increased my number of battleship kills to 25. It was an exicting event with the order helping out untill it came time to destroy the second gunbat. Then the last 3 order fighters left the area and I had to wear down the gunboat by myself. I was worried that more nomad fighters would come along before I could get the job done. All went well though. I got the job done ans high tailed it it back to alpha.
I only managed to pick up one nomad turret on that raid, but I was there mostly for the excitement. There was plenty of that to go around. If anyone wants an escort to the unknows I'll be glad to go along with them.

This afternnon I did a couple more raids in unknown 1. I now have taken out 27 nomad gunboats. It's time consuming work especially when your support units dissapear on you. I had to take down 2 gunboats all by my self. Again! I'd love to use torpedoes on them but those launchers keep getting shot off of my ship in combat with the fighters. I've lost 4 launchers already. It's too expensive replacing them all the time. I also picked up a nomad shield. I put that one on my Dragon II. I'm really enjoying that little fighter. Maybe one day I'll take that one out to fight nomads.

I did a couple of nomad raids today. I killed two more gunboats. That brings me up to 29 battleship kills. I also got a nomad prototype. I put it on my Dragon II and moved one of the energy blasters to my Sobek. I pan to put some more nomad guns on the Sobek to reduce energy drain. I really like those silver fires, but they use plenty of juice. even with a class 15 PP you get a good bit drain with sustained fire. As for the Dragon II. I'm going to load it up with nomad protoypes. I like the high fore rate on those guns. Plus they melt shields pretyy fast. Time for break now and I need to get some excercise. A pilots got top keep in shape.

I took out 2 more nomad gunboats today. That brings me up to 31 batleship kills. You don't get much when you take them out a nomad turret and few nomads. The turrets brought me about 900,000 at the equipment dealer. Butt hen I pais voer 2 million for rpeairs Still I enjoyed taking them out and will do it again when I make some more money. I have over 500 CW on that account and more than 350 hours of time.
My Dragon II is turning into a letha weapon with those nomad guns on it. I'm only using 4 of them and last night i took out a gruop of hammerheads with no trouble. I'll probaly have to get a better PP if I load 2 more namad guns on it. But of course I can always turn 2 of them off if need. That's how I'm doing it now. It's got 2 debilitators but I don't bother with them as the nomad guns eat up shields fast.

I took my Dragon II to hudson today and hunted Xenos for fun. I ran into an LSF pilot named King. He was having trouble with a large group of Xenos. I'm fairly certain he would not have made if I hadn't come along. He said he was gratefull for the help but that he could have handled them on his own if he had to. I find that hard to beleive since he was flying a patriot light fighter. I didn't try to argue with him. Even wtih the best upgrades that ship is pretty limited.
Any-way King offered to pay me to escort him to Omicon Gamma. He siad he was looking for an old friend of his named Junko Zane, and her last know position was there at FP-5. I told him I was not interested and he upped the pay to 50,000. He must be desperate to offer so much for an escort. I almost hated to turn him down, but after my dealings with Zane I decided not to trust the LSF again. I told him there were plenty of bounty hunters at FP-5 who would be glad to take his offer if he could make it there. He said it would no probelm for him to get there. I doubt that I'll be seeng Mr. King again. There's no way he's going to make it out in gamma with a light fighter like that.

I did a couple more raids in unknown 1. It was exciting. The first time I jumped it was was quiet at first. then the Order sgowed up followed by the Nomads. We tore them a new one. And I scored a few nomads but no equipment. After we took out the first wave of nomads I found mysefl alone with the second wave of them. I did the smart thing and bugged out.
On the second raid it was dicey as soon as I jumped. We fought them off. Two waves of fighters. Then I was alone with two nomad gunboasts. I kept hammering at them one at a time untill they were both dust. I scored two turrets and and armor. I sold the equipment to freelancer who was in need of better armor. Now my battleship kills are up to 41. I feel good about that!
I haven't seen that King fellow agin and it's been weeks since he was around. He probably met the same fate as Zane. Nobodys going to mess with corsairs in a patriot light fighter. Man that guy was out of his mind!
Any ways I've been playing around with my Dagger II a bit. I like it a lot. I've got 4 nomad prtotyps on it now and the MK-9 PP does not drain with 4 of them. I can't wait to get two more of those guns for my little ship. Already it's a force to be reckoned with. I took out some Xeno eagles in huson while helping another freelancer with missions. The ship served me well although those eagles did inflict some damage on my ship. They paid dearly for their mistakes.

It's been kind of quiet for me lately. Actually I haven't been doing much. I really am getting bored so maybe I should go out the Theta and kill some BH just to keep my skill up. There's a freelance pirate named Doom running around New York these days. I ran into him at Rochester the other day. He seems friendly enough for a pirate, but I don't think I trust the guy. He's probably crazy as a loon. You have to be crazy to mess with liberty navy. I asked him if saw any patirots out in the Gamma systems. He said he saw some wreckaege from a patriot but he didn't get an ID in the ship. Then he looked at me kind of suspicously and asked why I was asking. I didn't know quite what to say. I didn't want to admit to knowing any LSF people. I just told him I heard a rumor thet the LSF was moving in that area and I wanted to know if it was true. That semed to satisfy him some. Any way I bought him another ale and made my way pout of there.

I also met up with Doom. Certainly was a talkative gentleman. Was going to offer him some backing (credits) until I discovered he already had some pretty significant backing from one of our gentleman story tellers. He certainly isnt lacking experience and funds. :-)

every one have some last of the year great flying and a fantastic New Year.

I've made a few riads in unkown 1 again. I think I have 41 battleship kills now. Still they aren't dropping much in the way of equipment. If only I cuold get a couple more nomad prtotypes. Then I could equip my DragonII with the needed guns. Those guns are a peasure to use. With only 4 of them I've manged to take out sabres, sabre IIs and evn some dragon IIs with relative efficiency. I've also been keeping up my skille by killing BH in theta. I've even takin to ambushiing them at the O-41 JH. But I'm not exactly sure whos's ambushing who. Once when I launched from Katipo after getting repairs and a pint or two of ale I got swarmed by a large number of hammerheads. There wan't even any Xenos there to help me out. If I wan't using MK-15 armor I would have had to re-dock for repairs. I took my chance though and went back to the O-41 JH for some payback. I ened up making more than ten million that day.

I haven't done much in the last few days. I paid a visit to the Blood Dragons in Chugoku. The Sake is good there, and the women are easy on the eyes! I ran into Doom there. Seems he's been haniging out there and making raids in Honshu. He says they pay well for Kusari Officers and police. Corporate pilots bring a nice price he says. Any way he bought me round of Sake and told me how he's been tearing up the kusari navy fighters who dare to go to Chugoku. I nodded my head nad pretended to be interested. After all he was buying the drinks. Any way I got pretty loaded that night and didn't remeber the name of the girl I woke up with in the morning. I'm not sure but I think she made the first move. One thing about those Kusari women. They aren't shy about what they want. Any way I told her I'd come back to Kioto as soon as I could. Don't know when that'll be though.
