Sad to See another Server decide to Shut Down ,, looks like they are planning a Goodbye party for anyone that wants to join in for some Fun one more time...

Server description

Eagle Utopia is a vanilla (unmodded Freelancer) compatible server, don't let that fool you though! We offer many new challenges and the toughest non player characters (npc's) you have ever seen. Players on Eagle Utopia can fly ships not otherwise available in the unmodded game such as trains, transports and battleships. We offer role play enabeling you for instance to fly as a nomad, hostile to all of sirius but with the ability to cloak so you can sneak up on unsuspecting targets or make it through enemy invested territory.

July 1st 2003 is when I started running the freelancer server you've all come to know as Eagle Utopia. now after 7 years the time has come to shut her down permanently.

We'll stay online untill the 1st weekend of july, during which I hope to see some familiar faces. If you're able then pop online the 3rd and 4th of july so we can all have fun together here on EU one last time.

Aye, sad to see a server go. But tbh I saw it coming - barely ever seen anyone on there.

I might go over for the final weekend, just to see what it's like when it's populated.

Another Old School server shutting down. I was just there a week or so ago wondering where everyone was. Now I know.


Great mod and server it was. :)

It was a crowded server for a long time and many battles there too.
