Again as I just logged back on the server as of this post and the above is now unlocked for players. This can be confusing to some and cause a lot of crashes. I think these guys should be informed that this version number has been taken and they need to change theirs.

Why not just use 1 version number no matter what. Or,, would it matter?

i can tell you that from experience well no way to fight em on it ... although we did carry their stats on the new FLC stat page We dont now .. i know its a liitle thing right or wrong removing them made me feel better......... if i could.. i would remove them from the global list as well until they started to follow best practices set forth by the modders and admins of the community. Its just common Courtesy

Why not one version number followed by a letter of the alphabet until you hit (z) before going to the next version number? That's 26 builds on one number. Instead of using Version 1, v2, v3, etc...etc... and leaving all that space in between. What do I know, I'm stuck on one as it is.

Next question is what to do with the 68 BSG people who tried to join the UV and ended up creating either an empty folder or a folder with up to 15 1k .fl files (empty). Should I release them from the FLAC firewall or keep them banned for potentially crashing our server? Below I only listed the IPs that actually tried to create characters, I have not listed the ones that realized their mistake and backed out (but still left an empty folder behind). I have probably had to delete over 150 empty folders because of this to keep our database trim and efficient.

Could that be why I get so much red lag now and then because, their players are still trying to log in with the same mod they had? I shouldn't be getting any lag at all with a server ping of 65 log in and no higher than 77 in game. I also remember having a hell of a lot of those types files too back when they had the same version number as the mod I was getting help modifying. Players mistaking my server for BSG back then. You're doing an excellent job of managing it.

Well it has now been eight days without a single new IP from them so I have now unbanned those 68 IPs.
