 Post subject: Did anyone ever manage a bigger navmap?

It seems the current navmap is limited to a 30x40 grid or so, even though decimals are possible here it does get a bit crowded IMO have anyone ever managed to make a bigger navmap?

Not that I am aware of. The systems can only be placed in so many of those grids anyway. -1 to 17 if I remember right, without pulling out my notes. Beyond that that they don't show.

Now I'm not saying that an exe hack can't make it bigger, but I don't see the point myself. Any mod much over 120 systems won't be played much, simply too many places to go and too few players left.

Tekagi's Treasure has 160 systems, and they don't have any trouble at all. They fit in comfortably, too.

I believe you can fit in more systems in a navmap, using a utility made by someone (can't remember who, though :?)that lets you put systems at decimal points, (etc. 1.5 or 2.3 instead of 1 or 3).

Yeah u can do that even without a program, but imagine a widescreen universe map...ey?...ey?...drool?
