Well, UPS stabbed me in the back, along with NewEgg. I ordered 3, 1 GB RAM sticks from NewEgg about 3 days prior and when UPS got here on Friday, they called their dispatch telling them they couldn't find my apartment number.

UPS calls me telling me this and I then asked them, "Why?"

She says, "No apartment number listed on the shipping label."

I'm like, "Oh, Yeah? Well, that's funny, just 3-4 weeks ago, UPS delivered a monitor to my door, also from NewEgg, without any problems. The box is still sitting right here and I'm looking at it."

She says, "NewEgg didn't have it on the shipping label and you won't get it until Tuesday."

I'm like, "Why then?"

She replies, "Monday is a Holiday."

I ask her, "Why not Saturday?"

She's like, "It's a three day weekend."

Then I asked her, "What was up with her delivery man, didn't he have sense enough to go to the Managers Office and ask?"

She said, "I guess not. It didn't have an apartment number on it so, we couldn't deliver it. You'll get it Tuesday." Then she hung up.

That was it for me and NewEgg.

What I don't get is, if he called them telling them he didn't have an apartment number, they call me telling me this then why, didn't they get their wires right and deliver it anyway? If they called me asking me asking what number it was? NOoooooooooooooo, they take it back to the center and wait to deliver it another day.

Ye that's life M8 i know how you fell , I have a PC store 5 min away they are just great good prices , I just got a gamer's pc case and a 700 Watt PSU just took 2 days to order and pick up , But i think i have a problem with my MoBo it turns off ok but when i turn the power on from the wall but but before i turn it on , On the case , it starts up on it's own ?.

The Monitor? I paid for a 3 day delivery and got it in 7. That's it with NewEgg, period. At least with Tiger Direct, it's delivered in the time they say it will be or, a day earlier. I think they're cheaper as well and it was just that NewEgg had the RAM I needed at a low price because, I had it on my watch list. I need DDR and most everything now is either DDR2, DDR3 or, soon to be mainly, DDR5. No-one hardly ever advertises for DDR RAM anymore.

What I got, my W7 is fine. My other ones are still running on XP though. I play Freelancer on them still. My W7 stills runs as good today as it did when I first got it 2 years ago.

I just don't deal with NewEgg anymore. TigerDirect still asks too much money for DDR & DDR2 Ram though. They are always emailing me for new deals but, nothing that I want or, can afford. The only thing I need now is, a newer video card. Not that the one I have is bad, I just want to upgrade.

Got me a new monitor a while back. An HP LV2311, 1920 x 1080p 23", it's really nice and I can see now. I'm also running a new card if, I have yet to mention it here, an MSI R9 270 OC, GDDR5, 2GB VRAM. I've had the card for several months now and it looks great with the new monitor.

Yeah it's been a long time. I'm actually having a lot of fun playing this old game. It still looks great and it's almost 20 years old iirc.
