I am creating a TCM Starter Pack. I have compared vanilla VignetteParams.ini with the one I modified for the UnderVerse.
FLIA (Freelancer INI Analyzer) brought up the following errors:
Processing e:\Freelancer\DATA\RandomMissions\VignetteParams.ini
WARN: File e:\Freelancer\DATA\RandomMissions\VignetteParams.ini line 242
Section [DataNode] line 2
10205 - Too Many Values !comm_sequence!SUCCESS_NOT_KILLED_ALL_GOING_TO_MAIN, PLAYERS_IN_RANGE, 1.000000, 0.500000, 1.500000, BIG_SHIP, rms_targetrunning, BASE, rmb_targetrunning!
WARN: File e:\Freelancer\DATA\RandomMissions\VignetteParams.ini line 776
Section [DataNode] line 4
10205 - Too Many Values !comm_sequence!SUCCESS_NOT_KILLED_ALL_GOING_TO_MAIN, PLAYERS_IN_RANGE, 1.000000, 0.500000, 1.000000, DEFENSIVE_SHIP, rms_shiprunning, BASE, rmb_shiprunning!
What I did a year ago was to copy another entry below the first one and changed them both to the following:
comm_sequence = IN_SPACE_IN_SYSTEM, PLAYER, 1.000000, 10.000000, 13.000000, BASE, rmb_gotowaypoint
and
comm_sequence = IN_SPACE_IN_SYSTEM, PLAYER, 1.000000, 10.000000, 13.000000, BASE, rmb_gotowaypoint
(both the same). This got rid of the errors. I haven't had any mission crashes nor have I heard of any of our players having mission crashes by doing this. But since I am creating a Starter Pack for new modders I would like your input as to the wisdom of me randomly selecting these replacement values lol. Do you have a better suggestion?

Oy hello, dwnundr, vignette params are not really my specialty, but:
Too Many Values !comm_sequence!SUCCESS_NOT_KILLED_ALL_GOING_TO_MAIN, PLAYERS_IN_RANGE, 1.000000, 0.500000, 1.000000, DEFENSIVE_SHIP, rms_shiprunning, BASE, rmb_shiprunning!
..it seems..im guessing that:
rms_shiprunning........means......Random Message Ship_ship is running
and
rmb_shiprunning.......means.......Random MEssage Base_ship is running
Maybe u cant fire both at the same time? im not sure but i read it like this:
IF not killed all go to main.......when players are closer than 1,1/2,1 of defensive ship then send message shiprunning says ship (and ship running says base)
Who knows i may be way off, but this is my guess, hope this helps...

The original values are from vanilla. Maybe they are right and the error checker wasn't programmed to recognize that they are right, I really don't know lol.
